I am launching a new addition to the Daydream Ink Blog....product spotlights. I use and discover so many great products everytime I begin a new project. I thought I would showcase some of them here for you to see.
Today's spotlight is my new favorite tool - an eyelet setter. There are many names for this product and many variations. I adore the one I have and used it recently on my sister in law's layered programs. Its easy to use and adds a touch of color and variety to any project.
this is my eyelet setter and it works on two size eyelets.
I think my favorite part of this tool borers on addiction - the eyelet colors!! You can see them here but there are so many varieties out there and I have found some great vendors.
You only need your papers and a single hole punch
Here is how I used them on Kara's wedding programs to add a touch of yellow color

There's nothing greater than having a disney wedding...but getting to attend one is sure close.
My sister in law just had an awesome Disney wedding this month and she now gets this spotlight!
I was so lucky and pleased to be able to create her programs and table cards. What's more the theme was right up my alley and I had to kind of hold back.
Kara's theme was based on the big mouse himself -Mickey. Pulling her inspiration from Mickey Mouse her colors were red, yellow, black and white.
On my last trip I picked up these cool mickey mouse coasters that showed Mickey through the years. Well I instantly thought of them as a cool table card theme for her wedding.
She had 11 tables and we used various mickey cartoons and styles over the years.
I am waiting for her professional pictures but for now here are some I took.

we placed the years on the bottom as well.
Her programs came out so great I was really sad I hadn't thought of them for my own wedding.
I used white paper, black font and used black satin ribbon to pull them together.
I used just a hint of red on the large titles, as well as a touch of yellow at the top, by using an eyelet.

So the recent Disney wedding invitations are complete and it seems I have a very happy bride and friend. Gina is such a sweet girl and I was so happy to create these for her, what's more I loved them. If I had only known how fun it was to do this 2 years ago these would be my wedding invitations...they have just a little touch of Disney without going too much and the colors are....well...just perfect. Browns and greens or blues are my current favorite obsession. They are classy and modern.
So with out further adieu here were her final invitations. :)

I lined both the rsvp and invitation envelopes with a brown paper accent...this was my first try at this and i loved how it turned out
*last names have been removed so the invitations are missing some words**
I was also lucky enough to help put the final touch on her tables and create matching table cards. Here are her professional pictures of her table. Can you say beautiful?!

Thank you Gina and Steve!!

Disney brides as close to my heart, so I was thrilled when a future bride asked me to design her invitations. Her wedding is in January and I was lucky to meet her on a recent trip to Florida. I love her stlye and theme for her wedding, and her colors were a dream to design.
I found it so easy to create several designs for her green/brown color scheme, that I couldn't stop.
While I won't post the design she chose just yet here are a few of the runners up.
