One of the latest baby shower themes is "books". Might sound boring at first but in reality it's a really great and fun idea for the mom and future baby. This theming can go far and carry over to decoration and invitations, or simply be a means of building a library for the baby.
A close friend of mine shared with me her tradition of bringing a book as a gift for each baby shower and inside it she writes a message to the little one. I "borrowed" that idea and now have used it twice and love the idea.
It's a great way to help build a growing library for the future girl or boy. :)
These invitations are part of my latest baby shower collection.

There's nothing greater than having a disney wedding...but getting to attend one is sure close.
My sister in law just had an awesome Disney wedding this month and she now gets this spotlight!
I was so lucky and pleased to be able to create her programs and table cards. What's more the theme was right up my alley and I had to kind of hold back.
Kara's theme was based on the big mouse himself -Mickey. Pulling her inspiration from Mickey Mouse her colors were red, yellow, black and white.
On my last trip I picked up these cool mickey mouse coasters that showed Mickey through the years. Well I instantly thought of them as a cool table card theme for her wedding.
She had 11 tables and we used various mickey cartoons and styles over the years.
I am waiting for her professional pictures but for now here are some I took.

we placed the years on the bottom as well.
Her programs came out so great I was really sad I hadn't thought of them for my own wedding.
I used white paper, black font and used black satin ribbon to pull them together.
I used just a hint of red on the large titles, as well as a touch of yellow at the top, by using an eyelet.
