Beach themed Envelopments

Saturday, February 27, 2010
I have been waiting for this day for months to finally be able to reveal my latest creations.  I am in love with the way these turned out and hope the Bride and Groom adore them as well.

Kristen and Greg are having an awesome beach wedding in Hilton Head Island, SC  in just 2 months.  Their obvious theme was the beach and with that I had a world of possiblities.  They wanted something different and unique, including their colors and that was able to showcase several events they were hosting.

I had always wanted to try using Envelopments or Pocketfolds and was finally give a chance and without further adieu.....

Kristen & Greg chose a square pocket fold in Pyrite.
I "wrote their names in the sand" on the beach picture

The inside has a pocket for holding their Respones Cards as well as a Wedding Events card that told thier guests of the fun activities leading to the big day.

I used their wedding color as an accetn for each piece.

The response cards had several different rsvp sections for guests, including the resort they are staying at.

The finished piece!

Kristen & Greg Best Wishes on your wedding day and for a wonderful future together!!!

Life's a Beach

Daydream Ink has something big in the works.  I'm working on my first beach wedding themed invitations.  While I can't reveal the chosen invitations yet  I can share some of the invites I worked on while  thinking of the perfect ones.

I've found that there is one thing Beach weddings allow for - a hundred ideas. I couldn't stop thinking of new ones and just went a little crazy.
Here are a few that I designed. I went with lots of texture on these

I will work on posting more this week.  Burt stay tuned for the big reveal in the next few months

Saving the Date

Save the date...

One of the most common trends is to send wedding guests save the date cards, to allow them to plan to attend your big day. This is a much needed addition to any destination wedding when traveling is necessary.

Kristen and Greg are getting married in Hilton Head, S.C. and we are so very fortunate to not only be attending their wedding this spring, but also to create the first glance at their wedding.

Their theme is the beach and the colors fit it perfectly. I actually had a hard time deciding when to stop making new designs and ideas.

These are the completed cards, which I adore - they really set the stage for the wedding day.

only 237 days to go guys!
