Mickey would be proud

There's nothing greater than having a disney wedding...but getting to attend one is sure close.
My sister in law just had an awesome Disney wedding this month and she now gets this spotlight!
I was so lucky and pleased to be able to create her programs and table cards. What's more the theme was right up my alley and I had to kind of hold back.

Kara's theme was based on the big mouse himself -Mickey. Pulling her inspiration from Mickey Mouse her colors were red, yellow, black and white.
On my last trip I picked up these cool mickey mouse coasters that showed Mickey through the years. Well I instantly thought of them as a cool table card theme for her wedding.
She had 11 tables and we used various mickey cartoons and styles over the years.

I am waiting for her professional pictures but for now here are some I took.

we placed the years on the bottom as well.
Her programs came out so great I was really sad I hadn't thought of them for my own wedding.

I used white paper, black font and used black satin ribbon to pull them together.
I used just a hint of red on the large titles, as well as a touch of yellow at the top, by using an eyelet.

A Fellow Disney Bride!

So the recent Disney wedding invitations are complete and it seems I have a very happy bride and friend. Gina is such a sweet girl and I was so happy to create these for her, what's more I loved them. If I had only known how fun it was to do this 2 years ago these would be my wedding invitations...they have just a little touch of Disney without going too much and the colors are....well...just perfect. Browns and greens or blues are my current favorite obsession. They are classy and modern.

So with out further adieu here were her final invitations. :)

I lined both the rsvp and invitation envelopes with a brown paper accent...this was my first try at this and i loved how it turned out
*last names have been removed so the invitations are missing some words**

I was also lucky enough to help put the final touch on her tables and create matching table cards. Here are her professional pictures of her table. Can you say beautiful?!

Thank you Gina and Steve!!

If the slipper fits....

Well Disney is my favorite so helping a friend design her programs and table cards was a real treat. I had so much fun working on these for her and they really put a smile on her face when she saw them all put together.

Her theme was Cinderella, as they had got engaged in front of her castle in Disney World! She had a total of 18 tables that needed names and images, so I quickly went to work.

I printed them on both sides and backed them with an irredescent blue paper in her color.

these were her tables and the "Bibbity-Boppity-Boo" table.

Their Happily Ever After

I also made their programs. Sadly I wasn't at the ceremony so I am anxiously waiting to see the professional pics of these. She wanted a tiered design she had seen at a wedding and we added in her little bit of cinderella.
