Advice for the future

Last August my best friend Lauren was getting married.  I was her maid of honor and knew that I needed to make her shower special and unique.  I didnt want to do the same old traditional guest book that usually gets stored away somewhere and rerely looked at.  Hey I have one  as well and while they are traditional, they are starting to become less practical.

Lauren loved pictures...she shared my addiction to taking hundreds of photographs so I thought what better way for her guest book than in a scrapbooking format.

I created custom advice cards, to match her theme and the games I had made for her bridal shower.

Each guest wrote a special note of advice to Lauren on marriage, love, life and her wedding day. She then placed them in the scrapbook I made for her along with pictures of the special day.
So now instead of a book full of signatures - it came to life telling the story of her bridal shower and all the special people that were there.

My shower as well as this scrapbook was amazing. People wrote the best, funniest (& sometimes worst) advice! These were a blast to read! I really do look at them and re-read them all the time. Thanks Sarah! Wonderful idea!
