Purple Fun

Thursday, April 1, 2010
Circles Seemed to be the theme with these save the dates?  Yup.  The client loved the look, classic yet chic and modern.  I agree.

Purple seems to be a neglected color in wedding and parties, but I was very happy when they told me they were using that as accent color.

All in Dots

Wednesday, March 31, 2010
One of my favorite color combinations is blue and mocha.  I could simply make all invitations in this color.  I know there are other  brown combo lovers out there as well.

These save the dates could be customized to do any colors and really almost anything could be placed in those lovely dots.  A baby's name...a wedding date...so many options!

It is placed in a handmade brown  pocket that can be tied with an extra bit of color with a ribbon.

Save the Date Week

Tuesday, March 30, 2010
This week is Save the Date Week!  Most people associate these with big events like weddings, however some are  using them to spread the word about another popular event - Sweet 16's.  We've all seen or heard of the shows on tv about these events and how huge they are right now.  Why not make sure everyone you love can attend it.
I love save the dates because they really give your guests a sneak peak...a little taste of your event and the theming.  They don't have to be expensive and they don't have to be huge to spread the word.

This week I am going to showcase the many save the date designs I created for a past client.
I love these because they could be used for a wedding, or to share the news in a small way for a little one's arrival.

First up: Polka Dot in Pink

This design is  placed in a handmade pink pocket with brown ribbon accent.

This save the date can be printed on card stock or magnet paper.
